Meet Jim

The Steimer family has been selling Arizona real estate since 1974, and what started with just his mom becoming a Realtor has now evolved into "The Steimer Team", a family residential real estate team that currently includes Jim's son, Sean and his daughter-in-law, Dani. Jim attended Cocopah Middle School, Chaparral HS and graduated from NAU with a degree in business. 

After a few years of working in a corporate setting, Jim decided in 1988 to join his mom, dad and brother in real estate sales and became a full-time Realtor. Jim's wife, Julie, is a second-generation Phoenician (her dad was born in Phoenix in 1927), so their grandchildren are the 4th generation of Arizonans! 

Jim's knowledge of real estate and the Valley of the Sun has made him the "go-to" guy for others in the industry, as well as an annual winner of industry awards & accomplishments. In 2025, The Steimer Team sold 67 properties for $83,070,638 and is currently ranked #11 of all small real estate teams in Arizona by RealTrends Verified Rankings. Jim enjoys traveling/spending time with his family, occasionally golfing and playing with his grandkids.
