About Otley Smith

With more than a decade of experience in Arizona real estate and a 15-year background as a custom home builder, Otley Smith brings a unique perspective to helping clients buy and sell homes throughout the Valley.

Before entering real estate, he spent 15 years building custom homes in New Mexico, developing a deep understanding of construction quality, design, and the long-term value of a well-built home. That experience allows him to evaluate properties beyond surface appeal and provide clients with insight that is particularly valuable when purchasing custom homes and luxury properties.

Now a resident of Cave Creek, he focuses on the North Scottsdale, Cave Creek, and Carefree markets, specializing in custom homes and desert estates.

A straightforward, hands-on approach defines the way he works with clients. From the initial conversation through closing, he stays actively involved to help ensure the process remains smooth, informed, and on track.

Outside of real estate, he enjoys spending time with his family in the mountains and outdoors that make Arizona such a special place to live. He is also a proud motocross dad and enjoys cheering on his son at motocross races whenever he can.
